What We Do | Purrfect Paws Pet Crematory

Designing Your Ceremony

There are two facets of the design process. First, we ask you to consider how you wish to collectively remember and celebrate the life of your animal companion. When those important decisions are made, we'll turn to the issue of how you wish to care for the physical remains.

How to Honor and Remember Your Pet

It's about bringing those they loved together, at this time of loss. It's a natural thing to do, and we encourage our client families to do so.

You can say your goodbyes anywhere and in any way you want. Your choices include the place, day of the week, and time of day. A small gathering to say goodbye is healing.

Choices in Cremation

You'll need to make the next decision: whether to have your pet cremated by themselves (PRIVATE) or cremated with other pets but separated by bricks (INDIVIDUAL). In either case, you receive the cremated remains of only YOUR PET.  After the cremation, the cremated remains will be returned to you, and you can keep them, bury them, scatter them or whatever you choose. If you'd like us to scatter them for you, we will be taking other pets to a beautiful location to scatter.

What's Next?

Now that we've given you the basics, it's time to reflect more on exactly what is appropriate for you and your family. If possible, gather everyone together to speak of their feelings and desires.
